Horsley parish council intends to replace the goal post nets and paint the goal posts in the football field.
The bus shelter opposite the Lion and Lamb will have some of its structure repointed. Apart from the bus shelter at the south side of Horsley Barns which requires cleaning the three other shelters in the village are generally respectable. The parish council clean and maintain all four bus shelters.
Some residents have expressed concern about the size of the spoil heap beside Mill Way as well as the litter coming from the treatment works. The spoil heap is associated with the current programme of works at Horsley water treatment plant. Horsley parish council are investigating and intend to approach the works supervisor.
The village church has invited residents to tie a coloured ribbon to the church railings symbolic of your hopes, grief and happiness during the recent months. These will represent the prayers of our whole community. Please also note that the church is happy to lend a listening ear or help out with practical tasks if possible.
